Galatians 3:1-29

Suggested usage:

1. Allow the anointing of the author’s revelation to saturate your soul as read these identity truths.
2. Turn each truth into a personal identity statement by changing “you” to “I”.
3. Identify which truths affect you more when you read it.
4. Write one of the truths that penetrate your heart the most on your bathroom mirror so you can see it everyday and declare it about yourself using both “you” and “I” statements.

You received the Spirit by believing the good news about Jesus.
You know how to believe.
You have a great, innate sense of hearing the truth.

v3
You had a great start in the Spirit.
You are going to finish well by the Spirit.
You are not concerned about earning your salvation by your own efforts.

v4
Your history in Christ counts!

v5
You are a recipient of God’s Spirit.
You are granted access to God’s Spirit by believing the truth.

v6
You have Abraham as an ancestor of faith, who believed what God told him, and God credited righteousness to him.

v7
You are sons of Abraham by faith.

v8
You have the prophetic scriptures at your fingertips.
You are justified by God by your faith.

v9
You are blessed because of our faith.

v10
You are no longer living under the curse of the law because you do not seek to be justified by God based on the works of the law of Moses.

v10-11
You are not justified by the law of Moses.
You have life because of your faith.

v13
You are redeemed from the curse of the law of Moses because you have faith in Jesus Christ.
You have a Redeemer in Christ from the curse of the law.
You were under a curse but now you are redeemed from that curse.

v14
Your Redeemer caused the blessing of Abraham to come to you.
You have the promise of the Spirit by faith.

v15-18
You have an inheritance in Christ established in the promise of God.

v19-22
You have been given the promise of the Holy Spirit through your decision to believe in Jesus Christ.

v23
You were previously kept in custody under the law of Moses, until it was time for faith to be revealed.

v24
The law of Moses was your tutor, meant to lead you to faith in Christ, which would mean you would in Christ be justified by faith.

v25
Your faith has now been revealed and you no longer need to be tutored.

v26
You are a son or daughter of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

v27
You are baptized into Christ.
You have clothed yourself with Christ.

v28
You are all one in Christ with the rest of your brothers and sisters.

v29
Since you belong to Christ, you are Abraham’s descendants.
Sine you are Abraham’s descendants, you are heirs according to promise.
